RIDERS FOR CHRIST

Riders For Christ is a trail riding fellowship that meets at R4C Ranch. This rustic, country atmosphere provides an excellent opportunity to seek a personal relationship with Christ.

"Speak to the earth, and it will teach you (Job 12:8)."

Not a horse owner, hike in or take a hay ride shuttle to the retreat. The retreat offers hiking trails, fishing, paddle-boating, a campfire ring, and a campfire cafe.

Equine-assisted personal development training is offered by our ranch counselor. Christian counseling in an equestrian environment. Contact Kimberly Brixey at 913-845-3633.

Riders For Christ is a Christian fellowship. We do not exclude membership  based on denomination or faith. There is no charge for fellowship events at the ranch but we gladly accept donations to help us cover the costs.

Riders For Christ will also be planning some outreach trail rides and other events to help others seek a personal relationship with Christ through God's gift of horses. We hope you will join us as we plan these events.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
--Musicians to lead campfire worship
--Pastors/Christian teachers who would love to offer a short teaching to our group
--Small group/prayer leaders to lead break out groups after our teaching
--Fire Starters to prepare the campfire ring during the trail ride
--Campfire cooks to help prepare meals after the trail ride.
--Tractor drivers who want to pull the trailer for the hay ride shuttle.
--Experienced equestrians and horse trainers to help train rescued horses for use by non-horseowners on the trails.
--Anyone handy with a few hand tools to help build the chapel at the retreat.
--Those with a desire to serve wherever needed.

WISH LIST:
--Of course we wish for a new barn and indoor exercise area.
--Picnic tables for the retreat.
-- A porta-potty at or near the retreat.
--A front loader, bucket, and disc for the tractor

Riders For Christ scheduled events will be posted here. We are currently planning our 2010 schedule. Updates should be posted by March 1, 2010.
