Gearing up for the 2010 Riding Season
  Although the riding season extended into November, the snow and cold temperatures have been brutle this winter. This adds to the extreme riding withdrawal.  We are in the process of making some exciting plans for 2010 we hope will spring into action early!!.
   The new Riders For Christ Trailriding Fellowship will bring scheduled trail rides and campfire worship to the R4C Ranch retreat. We hope to create an atmosphere where folks can get together and seek after God's own heart through equestrian and outdoor adventures. In addition we would like to plan a remote trail ride and overnight camping trip. 
   We are also making up our 2010 Show and Drill Team schedule. This year we hope to add a few Schooling shows to our regular show schedule. 
    Volunteers are welcome at our monthly workdays to help with improvements for both the riding facilities and the retreat.

The New Show Team Schedule will be posted here. The Riding School will be accepting new students. Students learn to ride on our string of school horses. Lessons include natural horsemanship ground training and riding undersaddle.

    RIDERS FOR CHRIST   is a trail riding fellowship whose desire is to seek after God's heart through equestrian and outdoor adventure. Check back for our 2010 trail riding and campfire worship schedule. Our online study small group is currently meeting at http://r4c-ridersforchrist.blogspot.com  Join us for our current study in "Sacred Romance: Drawing Closer to the Heart of God" by John Eldredge and Brent Curtis.

 
VOLUNTEERS WANTED
It is our goal at R4C Ranch to offer affordable horse boarding and riding lessons through the efforts of our horse and riding community as well as volunteers who love to come out and enjoy the country with us. Volunteer days are fun, rewarding, and offer a great opportunity to make new friends and build a network of people to call when you need help at home. Everyone here loves to share their talents with each other so don't forget to ask if you need help. Winter workdays are on an as needed basis but stay tuned for our first scheduled, spring work day.


Ranch Gardens
If you enjoy getting your hands in the dirt, there will be plenty of opportunity this spring and summer. The terrace gardens are being mapped out and it won't take long before you hear about the stone wall.
