Ranch Update:
Odyssey SC babies cleaned up at the Iowa Gold Star futurity show this weekend. They took Champion in every performance class we watched with a Odyssey SC baby in it. And the payouts were nice, too. Odyssey SC is the sire of our stallion, KA Odysseus. Won't be long and the KA Odysseus babies will be old enough to dominate to the show ring.
Our Saddle Up for St. Jude's is this weekend. We'll be riding 10 miles for charity. If you can't ride with us, then visit our event page and make a donation for charity. We will be having a donor appreciation BBQ after the ride (approximately 3 pm)... so come out and meet the horses that worked so hard for the kids and families at St. Jude's and all the benefit from their research.

September 8, 2012 Saturday  St Jude's Trail Ride
Rockhaven Equestrian Trails,
                                            Clinton Lake, Kansas
Come ride with us and help out St Jude's Children's Research Hospital. If you can't ride you can sponsor a rider by donating directly to St. Jude online at Saddle UP for St. Jude's Trail Ride 9/8/12  -- all sponsors and their families are welcom to join us for BBQ and potluck after the ride! Hope to see you there!

Our Purpose

The purpose of R4C Ranch is to share God’s love with all who are drawn here by the Holy Spirit and to serve them with all we have as the Lord leads us.

Our hope is to allow others to draw near to God as the animals, the birds, the earth, and the fish teach and instruct them about who the Lord is and what He has done.

R4C RANCH TRAIL RIDERS' PRAYER

Dear Father, Father of all creation,
hear our prayer,
let your spirit be with us, hear our hearts as we share,

As we saddle up our horses and prepare to ride,
We ask that you would be our guide,
Not just on this trail but on all trails of life,
Lead us out of darkness and into your light.

We thank you for our equine friends and your majesty you reveal through them.
Let them carry us safely as we ride today and reveal to us more of you, Lord, along the way.

Prepare us for you, Lord, renew our minds,
as we venture out, new treasures to find,
Following our leader, Faithful and True,
Everywhere we go, Lord, we'll follow you.

Thank you for Jesus, who came to save, In his name, Lord, today we pray. AMEN
